Setting up a WebDAV connection on Windows Vista.

The below instructions will help you connect to ByteHosting's WebDAV environment. Before you can connect you must have
an active account with us. Our WebDAV environment uses SSL and is fully encrypted. Use your FTP username/password as your
username for WebDAV access.

WebDAV Setup Guide
Step 1: Open 'My Computer'

Click Start, then select 'Computer'
Step 2: Add a 'Network Place'
Right click in the "Network Location" section and then click on "Add a Network Location".
Be sure you do this in the 'Network Location' section otherwise
windows may not give you the 'Add a Network Location' option.
Step 3: Add Network Location Wizard

Welcome Screen

Click 'Next'

Choose Where to create Network Location

Click on "Choose a custom network location" then click "Next"

Specify Location
Use the following information to fill in the following dialog
"https://webdav.bytehosting.com/<example.com>"
|
Replace '<example.com>' with your domain such as if your domain was 'bytehosting.com'
https://webdav.bytehosting.com/bytehosting.com

Fill in the WebDAV connection url, and then click 'Next'

Login Information
*** CONNECTION IS SECURE ***
Our WebDAV connections are fully encrypted
In this dialog please fill out your FTP username & password.

Enter your login information previously provided to you by ByteHosting Administrators/Staff.

Connection Name

Type in the name you wish to use for this connection.
You can use any name you want, however we suggest you use
something like 'ByteHosting www.example.com' or just 'example.com'

Finish Wizard

Click Finish and you're done.
If you want to start using your WebDAV connection immediately check the box
'Open this network location when I click Finish.'
Step 4: Connecting to your Network Location
If you did not choose to 'open' your WebDAV share in the wizard, or you have already setup your share, then follow these instructions.
- Click Start, then 'Computer'
- In the left side, expand 'Network'
- Double click on your WebDAV Location
